Our family is your family. At Trinity we offer many opportunities for you to get involved. From our children’s programs to adult education, Trinity has a place for you.
Below we list several areas of interest. Please feel free to learn more about each and we hope you will feel comfortable joining one or many. We are always in need of volunteers to make our programs successful. It takes only a small spark to make a fire grow, help become that spark!
The CIA program, Christ in Action, will begin at the end of the 8:30 a.m. worship service on Sundays and run for an hour. If you do not attend the 8:30 service we will plan to start around 9:20 a.m. Typically we will begin in the Mission Command Center (most recently referred to as the Nelson Faith Center) for a time of youth focused worship. During this time together, we will explore the “Mission of the Day” which will coincide with what was being focused on church. This worship will engage all ages and will include many different styles and formats. It is our
hope that this will encourage family faith conversations and explorations during the week with everyone receiving the same message week to week. We will then break out into age groups and explore the “Mission of the Day” as well as foundational elements such as the Lord’s Prayer, Books and usage of the Bible, the 10 Commandments, etc. Our next component is once again with all of the agents (kids) coming together to “Stomp & Praise” using music, motion, instruments, and our voices to do just that: “Stomp & Praise.” Our debriefing session is the final piece of the day. We will overview our message, discuss ways families can incorporate this into their daily routines (parents, grandparents, caregivers and anyone else is encouraged to join in on this segment!) and prayerfully take our mission out into our daily lives.
Watch for events and activities coming up for the children of Trinity Lutheran Church!
